July 4th - Live Music at the Bookstore!
The Clamdaddys have a universal demographic: their delightful sense of humor, their dance beat, and their repertorie over over 300 songs ranging from Blues to Swing to Jazz to originals always make children, teens, older folk and in between jump up from their seats and dance. Thommy Knox (harmonica & vocal) plays a variety of styles and tells a story in song. Moses Walker (finger-style guitar & vocal) sings in a unique, gravelly yet mellifluous voice.  6:30 - 8:30.

July 8th - Todd Lowther, author of Castle Rock and the Ku Klux Klan will visit the store, 6:30 - 7:30.  This book is one of our top sellers...with that title, who could resist knowing more?  It is a novel, but based on some real events here in Golden.  The book ties in perfectly with the current exhibit at the Golden Pioneer Museum:  Golden in the 1920s.
